What's on my Travel Wish List?

Picture
Since we're all dreaming of the places we'd like to travel right now, I thought I'd also share what's currently on my travel wish list. I love to keep a running list of items I want to purchase and will usually splurge on one or two as I'm preparing for a big trip. Most of the items on my current list are go to travel essentials as well as some bigger purchases that I've been saving up for. This list would also make great gift ideas for a frequent traveler in your life. Or you can view my complete traveler's gift guide here.

Collapsable Water Bottle

I never travel without a refillable water bottle. It's a great way to save money and most airports have water bottle stations which makes it easy to fill up after you've passed through security. We're also pretty active on our trips and I will also pack a reusable water bottle in my backpack on hikes. But let's be honest sometimes they take up so much room when packing. That's why I love this collapsable option that can be compacted when it's empty and fit almost anywhere.

Fashion Sneaker

I'm always on the hunt for a good travel shoe that can withstand lots of walking while mixing well with different outfits. I love knowing these shoes have Dr. Scholl's level comfort while still being fashionable. They would also make the perfect airport shoe and pair with leggings or jeans.

Jet Lag Mask

I've seen so many people rave about this hydrating face mask and have been dying to give it a try. Long flights can often leave my skin feeling so tried and dry. This nourishing facial mask is designed to leave skin instantly renewed, radiant, and ready for anything.

Travel Wallet

I'm always looking to downsize as much as possible on my trips. I love the simplicity of this wallet which allows you to keep all your cards, money and phone in one place. It can be carried on its own or thrown into your personal bag on a flight. It also has RFID blocking technology which keeps your identity and credit card information safe from scanners.

Passport Holder

Sadly, our trip to Aruba was cancelled and I never got to use my new passport. But when we fly internationally next, I'll definitely be purchasing this adorable Lilly Pulitzer passport wallet to keep my passport secure and of course looking cute. They also sell matching luggage tags if you really wanted to step up your travel game.

Travel Skincare Set

I love Patchology's rejuvenating eye gels which help brighten your skin and get rid of dark circles. This on the fly skincare set is designed specifically for women on the go and features the perfect patch and mask combination to hydrate your skin, illuminate your complexion, wake up tired, puffy eyes, and smooth your dry lips.

Digital Camera

With all the photos I take on my trips, I've been dying to upgrade from my iPhone. This digital camera was recommended by one of my other favorite travel bloggers, Look About Lindsey, and is the perfect size for carrying with you on on your travels while still creating professional quality images. I've had my eye on this one for a while now and have been saving up! This will definitely be my next big purchase.

New Books

I love bringing a good book with me on my travels. They help pass the time on long flights or car rides and are a great companion for relaxing by the beach or pool. These are two of my absolute favorite authors who are both releasing new books this summer! If you don't want to wait that long, I highly encourage you to go check out some of their other titles. I've loved them all so far.
  • The End of Her by Shari Lapena (released on July 28, 2020)

  • One by One by Ruth Ware (released on September 8, 2020)

AirPods

I know, I'm way behind the times with this one but these are another splurge purchase on my wish list. No more dealing with tangled headphones in your carry on bag or while watching movies on the plane. AirPods also provide hands free option for hiking and exploring while listening to music.

Take a Hike T-shirt

I love a good graphic t-shirt, especially one that's travel related. This basic tee is the prefect color and would work well as a travel day wardrobe or for a more casual outfit while adventuring. See my full Amazon travel capsule wardrobe here.
